After serving her country as a cryptologist in the U.S. Navy, graduate student Lindsay Zike came to the UW with the dream of finishing her degree. But navigating civilian life after the military wasn’t easy. Her vision to create an easier path for future student veterans led to the opening of a new student center on campus — by veterans, for veterans.
